This passion project for healthy food and living evolved into a full-scale brand rollout. The client developed Epic Oats, a unique product offering healthy instant oats with an innovative granola-topped lid.

Designed for busy individuals, it delivers a quick, satisfying meal without compromising on flavour or wellness. Inspired by classic British desserts like Apple Crumble and Cherry Bakewell, Epic Oats blends traditional comfort with modern convenience, striking the perfect balance for today’s on-the-go lifestyles.

I was tasked with creating a cohesive brand identity, including branding, packaging, and website design, as well as developing assets for social media. We narrowed down their brand vision to three key components—healthy, convenient, and British-inspired.

Using these three categories as a foundation, I crafted a visual language that brought these elements to life. The result is a vibrant, wholesome, and approachable design with a clean, minimal aesthetic, reflecting the brand’s commitment to high-quality ingredients and simplicity.

Standing out in a crowded market of protein instant oats was essential. The goal was to communicate not just the health benefits but a mindset—a balanced approach to life. The design avoids the overly aggressive “power breakfast” vibe, instead offering a sense of comfort and reassurance. It lets consumers know they’ve chosen a healthy, well-balanced meal that will keep them going throughout the day. I achieved this by using hand crafted illustrations, soft font choices and earth tones.
